To the most beautiful pair of eyes in the world

Frightened black bucks run
fearing the cruelly bent bows
though they aim away.

I liked the bent bow comparison. Vaguely remember a Barathidasan imagery where he likens the arch to a question mark - though that is far less romantic than yours :-)

they aim away
mustarding mountains

@Parvati - On no, nobody made a grand escape...there was only a grand surrender! :-)
@MSP - That was a rich compliment there, but I would rather not take it - The difference between me and Bharatidasan must be likened to that between a greasy lamp and the bright sun. BTW, what does mustarding mountains mean?

I believe poetic license is for reders of poets too. So I go about inventing verbs out of nouns. I was referring to
kanniyar tham kadaikkan paarvai kidaithu vittaal...mannil kumararku maamalaiyum or kadugaam

@MSP - Aha! Now I get the secret. I think I'm going to copy the term and use it somewhere pretty soon...mustarding mountains, so alliterative!
